Are you an English speaker looking for an opportunity to build your teaching skills, and become part of a committed and kind community? Join us to spend time having interesting conversations and laughing about English grammar with our amazing, brave students. Our classes at the Leiden AZC (Asielzoekerscentrum, Asylum Seeker Center) on Tuesdays and Thursdays (10:45-12:30). We also hold classes in Wassenaar, Leiderdorp, Rotterdam and Den Haag. The classes are as much community-building as English learning, with snacks and a wonderful vibe. You do not need to have teaching experience to volunteer, but you do need to be fluent in English such that you can correct grammar and pronunciation. Join us!

Our volunteers are fluent English speakers from all over the world, with a wide range of professional backgrounds. If like to work with teams of like-minded people and are interested in supporting asylum seekers during this part of their journey, helping to build useful and transferrable skills, then please join us. Time requirement
Volunteers sign up for classes when they would like to join, ideally once a week. We hold volunteer meetings every quarter, and periodic topic-based trainings that volunteers are encouraged to attend.
